The end (for now).

This will be no surprise to anyone who follows this blog, but there hasn't been anything to follow for a long time now. There has been a lot going on in my life over the past few months, and during that time this blog has been terribly neglected, so I decided that it's best to officially end it with a final post.

I started this blog at the same time I started my studio in Yonkers with 3 main goals:
1. To develop a routine for digesting my thoughts, ideas & experiences about art (and anything else on my mind).
2. To use the Internet to reach out and communicate with other artists, bloggers, people, etc.
3. To become a better writer.

I don't think I fully achieved any of those goals the way I had intended, but I still think a blog may be a good way for me to get there. But for right now, I've closed my old studio and quit my job. I moved to a new city and bought a house. My days have been consumed with home improvement projects. I'm on my computer much less frequently now. After more than a month of work, my house finally feels like a home, but there is still more to do -- I still haven't set up my new studio.

That will be my next step and then I will start on some new work. I realize ending the blog here will leave a lot of loose ends (I never did get around to posting pictures from my visit to the Ju Ming Museum in Taiwan). I see big changes on the horizon, but right now I just need to work by myself. If I decide a blog is useful once again, I'll start a new one rather than continue this one. Anyone who wants to stay informed on what I'm doing is encouraged to get on my mailing list.
